Study World is Dubai’s largest investor in higher education, with over twenty years’ experience as an Academic Infrastructure Service Provider responsible for growing the most successful UK branch campuses in the UAE. Alongside this, Study World owns and operates higher education provision across India, Sri Lanka, Europe, and will shortly launch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Our corporate headquarters are based in Dubai, where we launched in the year 2005. We pioneered the International Branch Campus model in the UAE, launching Heriot-Watt University’s Dubai campus before launching our own premium British school and later incubating De Montfort University Dubai.

Study World Actvites

Schools: Own and operate Dove Green Private School, a premium British school in Dubai, with a branch in Riyadh currently under development.
Colleges: Own and operate colleges in Malta, Sri Lanka, and India with broad programme portfolios, with a licence for a vocational college in Dubai offering Levels 3–5 Pearson BTEC awards currently at final approval stage. Own degree-awarding powers (TDAPs and RDAPs) under the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority.
University Partnerships: Highly successful university partnerships with leading international higher education providers. Deep experience and understanding of the UK higher education sector, and of the regulatory, financial and quality assurance expectations upon a UK university operating globally, and the unique value proposition a UK degree offers.
Regulatory Assurance: Strong track record in working successfully with regulators across a range of territories, including partnering in the development of regulatory and quality assurance frameworks and ensuring successful inspection outcomes.
Education Management and Infrastructure Support: Providing comprehensive education management services, including campus infrastructure, all professional support services, and student accommodation and transport.
Marketing and Student Recruitment: Highly effective and proven marketing, student recruitment and admissions services globally.

Study World Awards and Accolades

Pioneered the International Branch Campus model in the UAE. Opened the first university in Dubai International Academic City in 2005, now the higher education hub of Dubai.
Created the first purpose-built international university campus in the UAE, at 500,000 sq. ft.
Achieved the only 5-star HEC rating from the Dubai regulatory authorities, KHDA, in 2019 for any international university in the UAE.
Awarded the best university for Heriot-Watt University Dubai at the first ever Forbes Middle East Higher Education Awards in 2019.
Delivered the fastest ever-growing International Branch Campus in the UAE for De Montfort University, recruiting c.2000 students within the first 3 years.
Highly commended by the UK Quality Assurance Agency for the successful partnership model delivered for the De Montfort University Dubai campus launch.
Only education provider invited by the Government of Dubai to partner in its investment into Malta’s Smart City, with Global College Malta opened in 2014.
